Privacy policy

Your data is only used to respond to your requests. Here, in plain terms, is what I collect, why, and what your rights are.

Data controller

Brandon Parent, Self-employed (secondary occupation), Allée de la recherche 12, 1070 Anderlecht, Belgique, CBE 0839.060.193. For any question about your data: contact@brandondev.be.

Data collected

When you use the contact form, I receive the information you choose to send me:

  • your full name;
  • your company name (optional);
  • your email address;
  • your phone number (optional);
  • the type of project, your planned budget and your message.

Why this data

Only to respond to your request, prepare a quote and, if we work together, follow up on your project. It is never sold or used for marketing without your consent.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and on pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Retention period

Requests that don't lead to a project are kept for 3 years after the last exchange, then deleted. Data related to a project is kept for as long as needed to follow it up and to meet accounting obligations.

Who has access

Only me. The data passes through technical processors: OVH SAS (hosting), OVHcloud (email).

Protection against robots (hCaptcha)

To block automated submissions (spam), the forms on this website are protected by hCaptcha, a service of Intuition Machines, Inc. When you view or submit a form, hCaptcha receives technical information: your IP address, information about your browser and device, and how you use the verification checkbox. It is used only to check that a real person is sending the form.

This processing is based on my legitimate interest in protecting the forms against abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). hCaptcha may process this information outside the European Union. To find out more: hCaptcha's privacy policy.

Cookies and audience measurement

This website uses no advertising cookies. It only sets the following cookies:

  • brandondev-session and XSRF-TOKEN : needed for the website to work and to secure the forms. They are deleted after 120 minutes of inactivity.
  • cookie_consent : remembers your choice in the cookie banner for 180 days, so you aren't asked again on every page.
  • _ga and _ga_… (Google Analytics), only with your consent : measure visits statistically (pages viewed, where visitors come from, requests sent, device type, country). They are kept for 13 months at most. This data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred outside the European Union.
  • hCaptcha, on pages with a form : the anti-robot service may set its own technical cookies, needed for the check described above.
  • traffic_source, only with your consent : remembers how you arrived on the website on your first visit (Google search, an ad, social media, another website or directly), the landing page and, where relevant, the advertising campaign. It is kept for 90 days.

If you then send a request, this source is saved with it, so I know which channels bring me customers. It isn't shared with anyone. Until you answer the banner, it's kept temporarily on the server, then erased if you decline.

You can change your mind at any time: .

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its processing, restrict its use, receive a copy of it or withdraw your consent. Simply write to contact@brandondev.be, and I'll reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be).
